INTRODUCTION
Angel One’s mobile app offers multiple financial services, with trading as its main revenue earner.
Analysing and monitoring opportunities is central to a trader’s workflow. This project redesigns the journey across key touch-points to make decision-making more confident.
PROBLEM
Users dont rely on AngelOne for research and decision making.
Users primarily use the AngelOne app only to execute trades, not for research or decision-making. We found that, they rely on other platforms for analysis and investment insights, then return to AngelOne just to place the trade.
HOW MIGHT WE STATEMENT
How might we redesign asset’s information & it’s accessibility for our app users so our product becomes a one stop solution all their trading related activities.
BUSINESS GOALS
#1. Improve engagement on these core product features
These features have a high DAU (Daily Active Users) traffic but the engagement & CTR (click-through ratio) is not that great.
#2. Retain existing mental model & patterns.
Majority demographic of our users are middle-aged, tier 2&3 city people. Sudden extreme change in the app UI would create frustration, panic and slow them down. Trading is a very time sensitive activity.
